The quick answer
About a third of Phuket's people are Muslim, so halal food is everywhere once you leave the main nightlife streets: Phuket Old Town (Thalang Road), Bang Tao, Kamala and Rawai.
Do breakfast like a local: roti dipped in beef or chicken curry at Roti Thaew Nam or Roti Chaofa, both in the Michelin Guide. Most roti shops close by early afternoon.
On the beach side, Cappadocia (Patong, Karon, Kamala) and Cairo in Patong are the easiest halal dinners.

Tips
- Phuket Town roti shops are breakfast places. Most close between noon and 1:30pm, and the best dishes sell out by about 10am. Bring cash.
- Halal food is concentrated in Phuket Old Town (Thalang Road), Bang Tao, Kamala and Rawai. Bangla Road and the Patong beachfront are mostly not halal.
- Look for the green CICOT logo or ฮาลาล / حلال signs. Many curry pastes contain shrimp paste, which is halal but matters if you avoid seafood.
- During Ramadan, iftar stalls set up near mosques from late afternoon, and some Muslim restaurants open late.
